“ Been going there since I was a kid. Nothing has changed except they now take credit cards. We were there on a Friday mid morning and it was busy, but no wait like they usually have. Service was good as always and the food was hot and pretty good. My liver and onions though was served almost burnt. I sent it back and they brought out one just as bad. So I ate the bites that weren't too burnt and filled up on my veggies and cornbread. I opted for chocolate meringue pie instead of my usual lemon meringue. It was yummy as expected. Making a pie decision here is a real challenge! It's over 50 years old and the feel of the restaurant is exactly as I have always remembered it since my childhood. And that's a good thing! ”

“ Stop at this cafe after leaving Inks Lake Park on a Sunday. It was consistently busy but the wait wasn't more than 10-15 mins. Typical diner decor and ambiance. Employees were polite as they kept up with the crowd. Food is very affordable and delicious. The menu ranges from American breakfast to dinner and some Mexican cuisine. Pancakes and omelettes were huge. Food arrived in about 10 mins after ordering. They have a lot of pies (slice and whole to and milkshake options. Will be back when in the area. ”

“ We haven't been here in seven months. It's 11:00 am and the place is bustling. This is the first time we have ever seen a male waiter. He was very prompt in getting our drinks and complimentary rolls and cornbread. The roll I sampled was warm and delicious. The butter was ice cold so you might want to hold it to soften it up some. I ordered mama's pot roast with mashed potatoes, spinach, and tortilla soup. I got a huge portion of meat with my order. The mashers and spinach were good. The tortilla soup was lacking. It didn't taste like the tortilla soup that other restaurants serve. I do not recommend it. They seem to be fully staffed with wait persons and busing staff. Tables are quickly cleared and cleaned for the next guests. I got a slice of apple pie to go because was completely full at the end of my meal. ”

“ Lunch at Blue Bonnet (having breakfast served all day). I had a pancake with two sausage patties. Yummy. Wife had a western omelette yummy. Great food and good service. It does get really busy around lunch time. Plenty of parking out back. ”

“ Gotta stop by here if you are in Marble Falls! There is a long line out the door (and we got here around 2 PM!) Once you sit down, service is very quick. Our server was very friendly and gave recommendations and even pointed out where the larger restrooms were and how to exit to escape the line in the front. Got the taco salad and I love it! Comes with beans, choice of meat (I got beef), cheese, guacamole, sour cream and tomatoes. This time we tried the lemon meringue pie for dessert. I feel like I'm just not a fan of the lemon. It is a bit sour/sweet. ”

“ Quick and great service! Although we had to wait in line for lunch since we came in during the peak hours after visiting the pumpkin patch in sweet berry farm. Their food is amazing, staffs are friendly. Pies are def my favourites, lemon and pecan - although they are def on the sweeter side. Never really like salad but I think the taco salad is certainly my favourite salad that I have ever had, it has meat, beans, sour cream, lettuce, pico, and cheese inside. Very satisfied! ”
